Reference : FXB-A21002 Diesel Engine Preheating and Postheating Training Panel

The FXB-A21002 training panel is designed for studying, demonstrating, and diagnosing diesel engine preheating and postheating systems. Based on a diesel engine configuration, it enables learners to analyze the operating cycles of glow plugs, the glow plug relay, and the electronic control module. Equipped with electrical measurement terminals and a fault simulation system, it allows trainees to perform measurements, identify malfunctions, and conduct diagnostic exercises under different engine temperature conditions. It is suitable for technical education institutions, vocational training centers, and automotive maintenance laboratories.

Educational Applications

The FXB-A21002 training panel is particularly suitable for training courses covering:

  • Diesel engine electrical and electronic systems.
  • Preheating and postheating circuits.
  • Glow plug operation and testing.
  • Relays and electronic control modules.
  • Electrical measurements and signal analysis.
  • Automotive fault simulation and diagnostic procedures.
  • Practical automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.

1. General Overview

The FXB-A21002 training panel is designed to support the study and understanding of diesel engine preheating and postheating systems. Based on a Great Wall 2.8TC diesel engine configuration, it enables learners to study the components of the preheating circuit, control sequences, and associated regulation principles.

This training bench provides an educational platform for theoretical and practical instruction in automotive electrical and electronic systems. It supports practical exercises involving glow plug testing, electrical signal analysis, fault finding, and diagnosis of control circuits.

2. Educational Functions

2.1. Study of Preheating and Postheating Systems

The training bench allows learners to study the operating principles of diesel engine preheating and postheating systems, including the functions of the glow plugs, control relay, and electronic control module.

2.2. Visualization of Operating Cycles

The system enables learners to observe the different stages of the preheating and postheating cycles, helping them understand control sequences and how they change according to engine operating conditions.

2.3. Electrical Measurements

The training bench allows electrical measurements to be performed on the preheating circuits, particularly at each glow plug. Measurement terminals are provided for connecting external instruments such as a multimeter or oscilloscope.

Practical exercises may include:

  • Measuring the supply voltage at the glow plugs.
  • Checking the electrical current drawn by the glow plugs.
  • Analyzing control signals.
  • Testing the operation of the relay and electronic control module.

2.4. Simulation of Operating Conditions

The training bench allows different engine temperature conditions to be simulated, including cold and hot engine situations, so that learners can study their effects on preheating and postheating sequences.

2.5. Fault Simulation and Diagnosis

The fault simulation system allows various malfunctions in the preheating circuit to be reproduced, such as a defective glow plug or a faulty control relay. Learners can practice detecting anomalies, analyzing electrical measurements, and identifying the causes of system faults.

3. Training Bench Components

The training bench includes the following main components:

  • Glow plugs: A minimum of four glow plugs mounted on a suitable support.
  • Glow plug relay: A switching device controlling the power supply to the glow plugs.
  • Electronic control module: A control unit managing the preheating and postheating sequences.
  • Sensors: A temperature sensor and other sensors required for the operation of the proposed system.
  • Training panel: A panel featuring a color electrical schematic designed to maintain long-term readability.
  • Measurement terminals: Test points for connecting a multimeter and an oscilloscope.
  • Fault simulation system: A device for introducing faults during diagnostic exercises.
  • Mobile frame: A supporting structure equipped with lockable casters.

4. Electrical Power Supply

The training bench shall be powered by a single-phase 230 Vac supply at 50 Hz. The power supply system shall be suitable for the integrated components and designed for safe operation in an educational environment.
