User-Friendly Interface
Designed for simplicity, the GPT-9000 features a clear panel layout, high-resolution LCD, and color LED indicators. Key tests, including AC (5 kV), DC (6 kV), insulation resistance (50–1000 V DC), and ground bond (AC 32A max.), are performed with stable output and high-resolution measurements. Test durations, ramp-up times, and trip limits are fully adjustable.

Unique Sweep Function for DUT Characteristics Analysis
The GPT-9800 Series features a unique sweep function that displays a graph of DUT test results. Measurements are recorded point by point according to the applied voltage or current and test duration (ramp-up + timer), providing a complete view of parameter behavior.
Users can move a cursor along the graph to check measurements at specific times or applied source values, enabling monitoring of current or resistance changes throughout the test, rather than just obtaining a final value.
High Efficiency and Stable Output
Unlike conventional testers using variable transformers and class AB amplifiers, the GPT-9900 Series integrates a high-efficiency PWM amplifier with up to 98% efficiency. This reduces heat generation and cabinet temperature, enhancing reliability and service life.
The PWM amplifier is also less sensitive to input voltage fluctuations, delivering a stable high-voltage output with less than 1% regulation for precise DUT testing.
High Accuracy and Resolution Testing Performance
The GPT-9000 Series allows fine adjustment of test voltage (AC 5 kV / DC 6 kV) in 2 V steps, and current measurement with 1 μA resolution and ±(1.5% + 30 μA) accuracy, ideal for detecting small leakage currents.
Insulation resistance testing voltage can be adjusted in 50 V steps from 50 V to 1 kV, with ±(10% reading +1 count) accuracy for 2000 MΩ / 9.999 GΩ and ±(15% reading +1 count) for 50 GΩ, providing flexibility and reliability.
AC source for ground bond testing (6 Vac, 3–32 A) and open circuit detection ensure proper connection before testing.
Comprehensive Safety Throughout Testing
Upon power-on, operator and DUT protection functions are active. A self-check ensures normal operation. Pressing "Start" applies a ~50 V detection voltage for 100 ms to detect short circuits before high voltage is applied.
Zero Crossing Turn-On and adjustable ramp-up time (0.1–999.9 s) minimize DUT damage risks. Any abnormality automatically interrupts the output to ensure safe and accurate testing.
Multiple Operator Safety Protections
Interlock prevents voltage output without a dedicated key. Signal I/O inputs can connect to safety sensors, disabling output upon intrusion. High voltage output is cut within 150 μs at test completion or anomaly detection, and DUT terminals are automatically discharged.
Intuitive User Interface
The 240 × 64 LCD displays parameters, measurements, and test results (PASS / FAIL) clearly. Color-coded LED indicators show tester status, and function keys provide convenient test configuration.
Convenient Manual and Automated Testing
The GPT-9000 Series stores up to 100 test conditions, each with a unique 12-character name, enabling repeatable or automated testing.
Control is possible via the front panel, remote terminal, Signal I/O for PLC, or RS-232C / USB (GPIB optional), simplifying test data retrieval.
