AFG-4000 Series – Flexible Bandwidth from 25 MHz to 250 MHz
The AFG-4000 Series is GW Instek’s first arbitrary function generator family equipped with a large 8-inch touchscreen display. Designed to address a wide range of signal generation requirements, the series offers frequency bandwidth selections from 25 MHz up to 250 MHz.
Single-channel models provide 25 MHz bandwidth, while dual-channel models are available in 25 MHz, 35 MHz, 60 MHz, 80 MHz, 100 MHz, and 250 MHz versions. All models deliver ultra-fine 1 µHz frequency resolution and include a comprehensive library of built-in standard waveforms, such as sine, square, triangle, pulse, noise, and harmonic waveforms.

- Entry-level single-channel 25 MHz models: 16 kpts with arbitrary waveform editing capability
The entire series includes 146 built-in arbitrary waveforms for editing and output.

The AFG-4125AE model integrates a built-in power amplifier delivering up to 10 W output power, with a 10× gain factor and maximum output of 22 V. The independent amplifier input/output supports a bandwidth range from 5 Hz to 100 kHz, making it suitable for audio signal amplification and related applications.
Intuitive Touchscreen Operation
The AFG-4000 Series features an 8-inch high-resolution TFT LCD display. Models above 35 MHz include multi-touch functionality, enabling faster and more intuitive parameter entry.
Users can directly touch parameters such as Frequency, Amplitude, or DC Offset to open a numeric input window. Values can be entered via the touchscreen interface or the front-panel keypad, ensuring flexible and efficient operation.
The combination of a large display, touch interface, and extensive waveform library provides users with precise and convenient signal control.
