The DAQ-9600 supports measurement and conversion of 14 different input signal types, including:
The DAQ-Data Logger PC software, provided free of charge, allows users to easily configure measurement setups, monitor data in real time, and control test procedures from a computer.
The DAQ-9600 is a modular, high-performance data acquisition system designed for maximum flexibility. Its mainframe features three module slots and a built-in 6½-digit precision digital multimeter (DMM), forming the core of its test and measurement capabilities. With seven available modules, the system can meet diverse measurement requirements across research, product characterization, production testing, and fault diagnosis. Its modular architecture allows easy expansion and reconfiguration, simplifying complex tests while enhancing speed, reliability, and accuracy.

The DAQ-9600 provides three module slots, all of which can be equipped with any combination of the seven available modules. Options include general-purpose, multifunction, matrix, and high-voltage/high-current modules. Users can mix and match modules to achieve the required functionality. Each module’s measurement channels can be independently configured for function, range, speed, and advanced options such as offset compensation. In a half-rack configuration, the system can handle up to 60 two-wire measurements, 120 single-ended measurements, or 96 matrix crosspoints—optimizing workspace and reducing cost for complex testing tasks.

At its core, the DAQ-9600 features a 6½-digit DMM with industrial-grade accuracy. It supports 14 input signal types and delivers a DC voltage accuracy of 0.0035%, AC voltage accuracy of 0.05%, and resistance accuracy of 0.01% (within a one-year calibration period). This precision DMM integrates seamlessly with all multiplexer and module types, employing “disconnect before connect” scanning to ensure that only one channel or channel pair is active at a time, eliminating measurement errors.
Unlike many systems, the DAQ-9600 handles most signal conditioning internally, reducing noise and errors from external wiring and eliminating the need for additional cables or conditioning modules. For example, thermocouple measurements are automatically compensated for cold junction errors (except in the DAQ-904), ensuring accurate temperature readings without external junctions or extension wires.
The system includes 100,000 non-volatile memory locations for local storage of measurement data, allowing offline collection before transferring to a PC. For larger datasets, users can leverage USB storage to save data directly to an external flash drive or copy internal memory for further analysis.

The DAQ-9600 supports LAN, USB, and optional GPIB interfaces for flexible remote control. Free DAQ-Data Logger software enables fast test setup, real-time data acquisition, and analysis. LAN connectivity allows seamless integration into corporate networks and central data storage. A built-in graphical web interface enables browser-based configuration, scan list execution, and monitoring, reducing the need for complex programming.
Standard Accessories: Safety instruction sheet, power cord, screwdriver, GTL-246 USB cable
Optional Accessories: GTL-258 GPIB cable, GRA-455 19" rack mount kit
The DAQ-900 features 20 solid-state relay channels divided into two groups of 10 channels each. It supports both 2-wire and 4-wire measurements, offering fully isolated inputs for the built-in DMM or external instruments. The module includes a built-in cold junction reference for accurate thermocouple measurements, reducing thermal errors. With switching up to 120 V and scan speeds up to 450 channels per second, it is ideal for high-speed, precise data acquisition tasks.
The DAQ-901 is a versatile multiplexer combining 20 2-wire or 4-wire channels with 2 additional current measurement channels (1 A per channel). It supports scanning speeds up to 80 channels per second, with built-in cold junction compensation for thermocouples and switching capability up to 300 V. This module is perfect for applications requiring mixed voltage and current measurements in a single module.
The DAQ-903 allows switching of 40 single-ended inputs per module, suitable for low-voltage common-ground applications such as battery testing, component characterization, and bench testing. It supports 2-wire internal measurements (except current), floating isolation up to 300 V, and scan speeds up to 80 channels per second, offering a compact, cost-effective solution for high-channel-count systems.
The DAQ-904 provides 32 two-wire crosspoints in a flexible 4×8 matrix configuration, with switching speed of 3 ms, and voltage/current ratings of 300 V / 1 A. Multiple modules can be combined to create larger matrices (e.g., 8×8 or 4×16), supporting up to 96 crosspoints in a half-rack. Ideal for connecting multiple DUT points simultaneously to different test instruments, this module enhances system versatility.
The DAQ-907 offers extensive sensing and control functionality. It includes two 8-bit digital input/output ports, a 100 kHz gated totalizer, and two analog output channels (±12 V or ±24 mA). Digital inputs and totalizer alarms are continuously monitored, even between scans. Additional channels allow sensing of current or voltage during output, making it a flexible solution for complex test and control applications.
The DAQ-908 is a general-purpose switch module with 20 independent SPDT (Form C) relays. Rated for 300 V and 1 A, it can control power cycling for DUTs, activate indicator lights, or operate external relays and solenoid valves. When combined with multiplexers or matrix modules, it enables fully customized switching systems for diverse applications.
The DAQ-909 is designed for high-voltage and high-current applications. It features 8 channels supporting DC 600 V / AC 400 Vrms and 2 channels capable of measuring currents up to 2 A per channel without external shunts. Both 2-wire and 4-wire measurements are supported, with switching speed of 3 ms. This module is ideal for high-power testing and monitoring scenarios.
