FluidLab-PA Process is designed to provide an accessible introduction to process engineering using either real or simulated learning systems.

The software supports commissioning, operation, and monitoring of EduKit PA as well as selected workstations from the MPS PA and EDS Water Management systems. It promotes a solid understanding of process control engineering principles through structured and application-oriented learning.

Using the EasyPort interface, learners explore plant behavior through simple process examples that illustrate both continuous and discrete control processes. This approach develops essential observation and analytical skills. Integrated condition monitoring enhances safety and operational efficiency by continuously recording machine states and detecting deviations for further analysis.

The FluidSIM simulation software allows learners to experiment with control engineering principles in real time. Users can create and test customized process sequences using electrical circuit diagrams and logical representations. A virtual reactor simulates industrial process flows through animated step chains, requiring learners to observe, analyze, document production orders, and respond to error messages.

For PLC programming training, the AS-i module supports understanding of binary and analog signal processing using platforms such as STEP 7, PLCSIM, and CODESYS.

Finally, the software integrates with Excel for real-time exchange of control data and is also compatible with the IoT Kit.
