General description

The NT-A0230 Micro-Deval Test Apparatus is a laboratory testing device designed to determine the resistance to wear of aggregates sized between 25 and 50 mm. Principle and operation

The apparatus simulates aggregate wear by abrasion in a wet environment inside rotating drums. It can operate with:

• 4 drums of Ø200 × 154 mm
• or 2 drums of Ø200 × 400 mm

The rotation speed is set to 100 ± 5 rpm. The unit is equipped with a user-adjustable digital revolution counter and automatically stops at the end of the test cycle.
